What’s New in 2017 Sage 200?

In 2017 Sage 200 becomes Sage 200c: hybrid-cloud technology and integrated Microsoft Office 365 empowers Sage 200c with remote, anywhere / anytime access to critical accounting and management information.

Invoicing Module: Create an invoice without first creating an order through Sales Order Processing. Print invoices directly without allocating and dispatching the stock.

New Analysis Fields: Customise your reports quick and easily with up to 20 new analysis fields that can be used directly on the Nominal Ledger.

Hide Inactive Accounts: Mark any old or unused customer & supplier records as inactive without the need to delete them. They will then be hidden from lists but still available for historical reporting needs.

Purchase Requisitions: Place an order via the web on the new web-based Purchase Requisitions system within Sage 200.

Sales Order Status: Multiple Sales Order statuses are due to be introduced instead of just Live and Closed as in previous versions of Sage 200.

Error corrections: New functionality to correct errors made on ledgers without the requirement to post a reverse transaction.


What’s New in 2016 Sage 200?

Sage Pay – get paid faster: Sage 200 now includes the “Pay Now” option on invoices and takes payments seamlessly into Sage 200 to improve cash flow.

Commitment Reporting - see what committed costs you have: This means users can enter purchase orders and report on the committed costs before the order has been received or invoiced. This will help give greater control of cash flow and committed spend.

New Bank Reconciliation screen - easier format: This new split screen makes it easier to reconcile transactions with this new format.

Create Return from Sales Order - speeds up returns process: Previously, the returns process was not connected to the original sales order. In Version 2016, you can now create a return from a Sales Order, speeding up processing time.

Rapid Order Entry - Predictive Text: Predictive Text is now available to filter the selection list of available stock items. This will help make rapid order entry even faster.

Extended Stock Analysis Codes - more ways to analyse your stock: Now there are 20 analysis codes available so you can capture more data against stock items and then use for further reporting and analysis.

Promotional Pricing - time stamp your pricing: You can now set pricing with a time and date stamp. This feature is very useful and will help to reduce human errors on sales orders and invoices.

Limited Price Bands - choose the stock items to include in price band: You can now create Limited Price bands, where users can select which stock items to include rather than all items being added.

Barcodes - Stock records have been extended to include barcodes: Barcodes are printed in Barcode39 Layout. For different formats, this can be changed in the Report Designer. Now you can import and store more information against stock records in Sage 200.

Web Sales Orders - create sales orders on the move (Feature as a Service)*: Now you can create sales orders from any internet connected device in real time.
