SAGE LAUNCHES SAGE 200C VERSION 2017
Sage has announced the launch of Sage 200 version 2017 (rebranded Sage 200c). Sage 200c 2017 is the latest version of Sage 200.
This powerful hybrid-cloud accounting solution provides users with greater levels of agility and control. Developed with an eye on new disruptive technologies businesses face today including Cloud, Mobile, and Social Media, Sage 200c enables Irish businesses to manage even the most complex processes and workflows across multiple departments and business units with greater ease and flexibility.
New Innovative Features
Sage 200c version 2017 from DB Computer Solutions adds many additional features to the tried and tested Sage 200 accounting solution:
Improved User Interface – Sage 200c sees a much improved user interface for increased ease-of-use. While the 2015 enhancement was revolutionary, this version continues the user-friendly momentum.
Standalone Invoicing Module – Sage 200c introduces an innovative standalone invoicing module. The new Sage 200 version has been re-architected to accommodate this module at the very core of the product. Until this version, users of Sage 200 required the 200 Commercial Module, as well as various actions, to progress an order through the Sage 200 sales order process, and to the point of invoice. No longer! This quick and simple invoicing function has been added and fully integrated into the system’s Financials platform.
Basic Purchase Requisitions – a basic, non-hierarchical purchase requisitions and approvals process has also been added. Sage 200c uses existing architecture developed for web time and expenses, but re-tailored for purchase requisitions.
Dashboard Summaries – business information goes Graphical with Sage 200c! This version builds snappy graphs with improved interactive dashboard summaries to present the data you need to fully understand current business positions and act decisively in light of changing business conditions.
Excel Reporting Module – Excel is one of the world’s favourite financial applications, and Sage built on this demand by incorporating the in-built Excel Reporting Module in the 2016 version of Sage 200. Many DB Computer Solutions customers use this optional module to empower their business. We expect many more to jump on the Excel Reporting Module bandwagon with the release of Sage 200c.
Browser-based Workspace Enhancements – anytime / anywhere online access has become the de rigourfor Irish business people. Sage 200 Workspaces meet that demand when your business has a Sage 200 web user license. Sage 200c sees significant improvement in online workspace intuitiveness, enabling users to access the financial data they need no matter where they are in the world.
Additional features include, but are not limited to:
Improved Error Corrections – make corrections to customer and supplier transactions from a single screen. Now you can change all the information on a transaction including date, nominal account, and amount. You can also correct foreign currency invoices and credit notes.
Improved Budget Reporting – managers can now track budgets for the entire organisation using the new Budget Overview report. Users can also see their budgets in real time using the My Budget Overview workspace. This can be accessed via a browser so budget holders don’t have to be full Sage 200 users.
Rapid Invoice Entry – a new and faster way to enter supplier invoices
Sage Seamless Bank Feeds – centralises and links bank accounts directly to the accounting system for easy, secure import of account transactions from your bank. Downloaded transactions can be quickly matched to existing transactions in Sage 200c for efficient bank reconciliation.
