November Blog! From @DB_Comp

Well, winter has definitely starting kicking in and the early, dark nights are getting colder for sure.

The Meetwest business networking event in Athlone proved to be a huge success, and was very well-attended by the Irish business community. It was a great opportunity for sales and business development people who are keen to network in a proactive and positive environment and brought together a lot of business owners from Mayo, Roscomain, Westmeath, Sligo and Galway, plus attendees from further afield. There were some delightful food companies and we met a host of entrepreneurs including Declan from Molloys’s Bakery, Yvonne at Waldron Meats and Karen from Roscommon Chocolates, all proudly displaying their creative talents.

Additionally, we enjoyed showcasing the DB Remote Rep field sales/mobile sales solution and we spoke about the benefits of our Service Module solution for companies looking to track and manage scheduled call outs – whether for environmental solutions or security installations, and pretty much everything in between.

This last month has been characterised by some vigourous efforts, not least by our own Mike O’Callaghan who completed yet another marathon – this time the Eddie Murphy memorial in Sixmilebridge – where a dedicated bunch of men and women of all ages performed heroics and pushed their endurance to the limits on the East Clare course, some even doing 52 mile efforts which meant running from 7 a.m. until 5 p.m.!

A massive well done to all involved!

On the Sage support and software side of things we are currently helping a couple of new clients in regards to their Sage 50 training and Sage CRM training. Installing, maintaining and supporting our Sage clients is bread and butter stuff, but sometimes things can go wrong – this is where it is handy to have twenty years’ experience. In particular, Sage CRM is a highly versatile offering, and a business solution which can be tailored according to your business requirements.

Although December is now upon us, our account managers are still working round the clock on proposals and our business consultants are working overtime on how best to deliver solutions within budget and timescale, for those clients who don’t need to wait until the new year to see some progress on developments. Furthermore, if you would like pricing on an upgrade to Sage 50 2016 just call the team at DB on 061 480980 or do get in touch with us via email.

So whether it’s Sage 200, and batch control and traceability are the key aspects to your business. Or whether it’s Sage 50, and nominal ledger, invoicing, and purchasing are crucial elements. Or let’s say you are involved in service management and would like to deploy Sage CRM to track and integrate the work schedules and callouts directly with your invoicing. There are many ways in which we can facilitate helping your company get the most out of your current Sage package.

As Christmas draws near and the festive season kicks in, we would like to wish all of our clients a happy and prosperous holiday. We look forward to being able to sit down in the new year with a good few clients to roadmap and amongst other things, plan on how best we can help via support and technology solutions for business process improvement.
