(22 June 2017) The Financial Times reports today that the incidious WannaCry Ransomware virus is still on the attack. “Honda has become the latest victim of the WannaCry cyberattack that crippled computer systems worldwide last month,” the FT reports. “The Japanese carmaker revealed it temporarily halted production at a Tokyo plant after discovering some of its computers were affected by Ransomware. Production of about 1,000 vehicles was disrupted…”
This malicious assault has affected hundreds of thousands of servers across the world, costing businesses and individuals millions of euro.
