Reflecting on the Evergreen Leadership Summit 2026

Being the Best in the World Starts with Choosing What Matters

Earlier this month, members of the DB Computer Solutions leadership team had the privilege of attending the Evergreen Leadership Summit 2026 in Las Vegas, alongside leaders from across the Evergreen and Pine Services Group portfolio.

This year’s theme – “Being the Best in the World” – challenged attendees to rethink what greatness truly means. Not being everything to everyone, but having the clarity and discipline to focus on what matters most. The Summit reinforced that enduring advantage comes from intentional focus, aligned execution, and the courage to prioritise.

For us at DB Computer Solutions, that message resonated deeply.

A Shared Commitment to Growth

Evergreen Leadership Summit brings together leaders across diverse fields to exchange ideas, scale best practices, and strengthen communities. The event emphasises:

  • Sharing proven approaches
  • Scaling bright spots
  • Continuous improvement
  • Community building
  • Renewed motivation and drive

As part of Pine Services Group, DB Computer Solutions benefits from being embedded in a broader ecosystem of operating companies and leadership teams who are all committed to long-term value creation.

Recognition Done Right

One of the most powerful takeaways from the Summit was Evergreen’s approach to recognising success.

Evergreen prides itself on being talent- and people-focused – and that commitment was clearly demonstrated throughout the event. Award winners across Pine were recognised with detailed, thoughtful feedback outlining exactly why they were selected. There was nothing generic or surface-level about it.

The follow-up communication from Evergreen leadership reinforced this – highlighting individual and company achievements with specificity and care. It was evident that real time and consideration had gone into celebrating contributions.

For our team, this stood out.

Recognition wasn’t treated as a formality. It was treated as a leadership responsibility.

Pine Day: Alignment in Action

A dedicated Pine Services Group day formed part of the Summit, providing focused time for Pine operating companies to align around strategy, accountability, and performance

ELS 2026 – Pine Day

The Pine Day agenda included:

  • Opening Session: State of Pine
  • M&A Update
  • Q&A with Tim Burke
  • MD&A 2.0 process updates
  • Leadership Scorecard & Panel
  • “Best in the World” Breakout Groups
  • Closing reflections and awards

This structured format reinforced Pine’s operating philosophy: clear expectations, empowered leadership, and disciplined accountability.

Pine by the Numbers

During the Pine State of the Union session, key metrics highlighted the scale and momentum across the portfolio:

  • $259M revenue
  • 11.7% growth
  • 22.4% recurring revenue growth
  • $57.8M EBITDA
  • 19.7% EBITDA growth
  • 16 operating companies
  • 20 acquisitions
  • $14.3M acquisition EBITDA
  • 900+ employees
  • 10,000+ customers

These figures underscore the strength of the Pine ecosystem and the collective impact of its operating companies.

AI: A Clear Strategic Priority

Another strong theme across discussions was Pine’s commitment to embracing AI.

There was clear intent around exploring how AI can improve ways of working – not as a buzzword, but as an operational enabler. The emphasis was on practical implementation and measurable improvement.

For our team, this sparked immediate thinking:
Where can AI meaningfully enhance our processes?
How can it improve internal efficiency?
How can it strengthen customer outcomes?

It was energising – and it left us with real work to do.

Leadership Mindsets That Drive Results

The Leadership Scorecard and breakout sessions reinforced the behaviours expected of Pine leaders:

  • Ownership mindset
  • Bias for action and urgency
  • Talent obsession
  • Energy and culture leadership
  • Strategic discipline and scalability

Breakout sessions encouraged leaders to reflect on:

  • What has made them better in the last six months
  • How AI and technology are improving daily performance
  • The challenges they are navigating – and how peers can support

A Rare Networking Environment

Perhaps one of the most valuable aspects of the Summit was the networking dynamic.

This was not a competitive environment. It was a collaborative one.

CEOs and Directors from companies operating in similar industries – but uniquely positioned to support rather than compete – shared openly about their challenges, approaches, and lessons learned.

There were structured opportunities to discuss real business hurdles and gain advice from peers who had navigated similar situations. That level of transparency and practical exchange is rare.

For our leadership team, it was an exceptional opportunity to learn directly from others facing comparable operational realities – and to contribute insights in return.

What This Means for DB Computer Solutions

Attending Evergreen Leadership Summit 2026 was more than an event. It was an opportunity to:

  • Align with Pine’s strategic priorities
  • Witness authentic, thoughtful recognition in action
  • Share best practices with other OpCos
  • Engage in collaborative, non-competitive peer learning
  • Reflect on leadership and accountability
  • Reaffirm our commitment to operational excellence
  • Explore practical applications of AI within our business

As part of Pine Services Group under the Evergreen umbrella, DB Computer Solutions is supported by a leadership ecosystem focused on:

  • Long-term value creation
  • Operational discipline
  • Recurring revenue growth
  • Talent development
  • Strategic clarity

The Summit reinforced a simple but powerful idea:

Being the best in the world is not about scale alone. It’s about clarity.

Clarity on what we do best.
Clarity on who we serve.
Clarity on where we choose to win.

We are grateful to Evergreen and Pine Services Group for the opportunity to participate, connect, and learn – and we look forward to applying those insights in the year ahead.
